RENK的历史可以追溯到1873年，当时Johann Julius RENK在奥格斯堡的Lechviertel为齿轮的『机械生产建立了一个小型机加工车间。1879年，这家年轻的公司搬到了Goggingen社区，直到今天RENK的总部仍在那∮里。公司于1897年改制为股份制公司，从1923年起，将公司整合∮到现在的MAN集团。

  在2011年大众汽车(Volkswagen AG)收购MAN SE的多数股权时，RENK也加入了大众集团。今天，RENK已成为全球高质量驱动技术供应商。该公司在奥格斯堡、莱茵河和汉诺威的分公司是主要的生产基地。

  RENK滑动轴Ψ承由德国汉诺威厂（RENK AG Hannover Plant）生产，与电动机相关的「主要轴承型号有EF系列，EM系列，ER/EG系列，ZM系列。
